Location
Medellín’s international airport, (IATA: MDE), is the second largest in Colombia, behind Bogotá’s El Dorado airport. It has several international destinations throughout South America, Central America and the Caribbean, North America and Spain. It is located in the town of Rionegro and 30 km, southeast direction, from the center of Medellín. (SEE MAP).

The terminal has a gastronomic variety of restaurants, fast foods, cafes, ice cream parlor, pastries. There are also several shops including clothing, toys, books, electronic accessories, as well as duty free items such as liquors, tobacco, regional products and delicatessens. Currency exchange services, ATMs and bank branch, convenience stores, VIP rooms and services, travel agencies and pharmacy are also available.

White taxis have their official stop next to the entrance to the terminal building while the meeting with Uber, Beat or DiDi must be coordinated with the driver, since the terminal is an exclusive area for taxis. Learn more
